With over 30 years of experience working around the world in the catering and hospitality industry, including cooking for royalty and politicians while travelling, Michael Lyons was based in the Middle East busy developing Business and First Class menus for Etihad Airways when news of a deadly virus first emerged from China.
Just weeks later Michael was out of a job. He returned home to the UK and started a business preparing restaurant quality meals delivered direct to homes in lockdown. Home delivery of restaurant quality food was new but it was the classics such as the Sunday roast which became firm favourites with Arundel locals, and Arundelicious grew quickly.
As we emerged from lockdown the chance to start a new restaurant in the centre of Arundel, a beautiful historic town in the heart of the South Downs, came along and Michael seized the opportunity.
